Wednesday’s Frappé, a quick one at Fontanina with a good friend of mine who’s over from Blighty.
A conservative affair, no fancy glass this time. Solid froth however and a pleasure to sip. There’s a party in my mouth, and coffee/milk/sugar are invited.
Baby’s been in the house a couple of days now, and luckily there hasn’t been much crying, yet. Heard quite a few horror stories from friends and relatives alike.
Some with a sympathetic tone and others with a sadistic laugh. Something along the lines of “You have no idea the trials that await you, Bwahahahaha!”
Incidentaly, this one’s by the sea in a small place called Varkiza.
Well, whatever happens, me ‘n’ the Mrs. are going to take it in our stride, one frappé at a time.
Monday’s frappé. The house is teeming with relatives - managed to slip away and find some ‘me time’ at Fontanina Café.
What SHOCKED me was the square glass that came out. Also, the guy/gal making it, seem to have added milk with reckless abandon. However, tasted OK and not a returnable offense.
Time to sit back, light up and enjoy the surroundings.
Sunday’s morning frappé. Dark, sultry and enticing. Moments of peace, ebbing away…
Special day today, as mother and baby are coming home from the hospital.
The outlaws are going to be here as well, and there’ll be much fanfare.
Saturday’s Frappé. Large, unadultarated froth in a retro-style Coca Cola glass! Woohoo!
Friday’s Frappé. Enjoying a few days while mother and baby are still in the hospital. Errands to run, house to organise and frappés to drink.
This is a cheeky little number - managed to get the froth up, but couldn’t quite get the milk to paint a pretty little picture.
Had this on the balcony, so chose a green straw to go with the surroundings.
Thought I’d treat myself - again. A curvy seductive glass with all the right contents.
This is a frappé that you get when you’re at a hospital. Awaiting birth of my son, so had to make it a little more interesting…
I slipped in a bit of Cognac and felt better for doing so.
Oof… Here we have a simple - bog standard frappé. Nothing to look at, but tastes great as I’m nursing a hang over.
Class in a glass. This guy has it all. Pure edutainment.
